*** Water Tanker Shuttle Accreditation ***
Great news for Ramara Fire & Rescue Services and our residents. Our department has now reached an industrial status for Water Tanker Shuttle Accreditation. If you are an industrial business this may help improve your insurance rates.
Ramara Fire and Rescue Service staff worked diligently as a team of professionals to acquire Water Tanker Shuttle Accreditation. This accreditation ensures that Ramara Fire and Rescue Service can supply enough water to fight a major fire in an area that is not serviced by hydrants. Achieving this means that rural residents in non-hydrant areas of the Township may be eligible for a reduced rate on their home insurance. Check with your insurance company! A copy of the certification letter is available by clicking the link below or at the Township Administration office. If you require further information please contact Ramara Fire and Rescue Services at 705-484-5374, ext. 253.

The Township of Ramara and The Ramara Fire and Rescue Services wish to recognize Stepan Canada for their years of support and their continued support of the grade eight CPR program in all Ramara schools. It is because of great corporate citizens like Stepan Canada that we are able to reach approximately 130 grade eight students a year, not only providing them with a new skill set but also providing them with a new level of confidence to handle an emergency if ever they must face that circumstance.
This program has been in place for over five years and Stepan Canada has donated over $25,000 to its continuance over this time. It is an incredibly successful program and overall makes our municipality a safer place to live. For this we thank you Stepan Canada and our residents thank you for your interest in their wellbeing.
