Accessibility Training Instructions

Welcome to Ramara’s Accessibility Training.  All Members of Council, staff, volunteers and contractors for the Township of Ramara must complete accessibility training as it relates to your position.  The following online training modules are available for you to complete at your leisure within 30 days of hiring/appointment:

Everyone must be trained in Accessible Customer Service, however, you may have already completed this training.  If you are unsure, please check with the Clerk’s Department, ext. 242

Everyone must complete General Requirements, Information and Communication and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Everyone involved in Human Resources and/or the hiring of staff will need to complete the Employment training module.

Everyone who is recommending or involved in the designing, building or making changes to trails, beach access routes, outdoor play spaces or any exterior paths of travel must complete the Design of Public Spaces module.

Upon completion of the required training modules, be sure to complete the Confirmation of Training form and submit to the Clerk’s Department.
