The Ramara Trail
The Ramara Trail stretches from the southern edge of the municipality where it meets the Township of Brock through to the Chippewas of Rama First Nation. A portion of the trail follows the abandoned CN rail line through spectacular wetlands and pastoral countryside while the remainder wends its way on scenic township roads along the edge of Lake Simcoe.
The Ramara Trail Committee is dedicated to expanding the Ramara Trail to one unified route linking the southern boundary of the township to its northern edge in Washago. The committee is always looking for volunteers willing to help with trail building and maintenance. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us through our Facebook page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Visit the Trail Committee page for more information on Committee members and minutes of meetings.
