Traffic Signs and Street Lights
There are approximately 800 LED
streetlights owned by Ramara. The majority of streetlights are located
on Hydro One poles. Lights are inspected three times per year by works
staff. Each year four additional new lights are installed. The
streetlights within the municipality are under warranty by the company
that installed them. If a streetlight is out or on during the day,
please report it through our customer service link.
The Township also maintains street
signs in order to ensure they are replaced when worn out or damaged. New
signs are installed in order to comply with the Minimum Maintenance Act
Vandalism and theft of signs costs taxpayers money and may put other motorists in danger.
