Ramara/April 28, 2022  - The Township of Ramara's new 2022 Municipal Election portal is now available! Check out all the information and resources for voters, candidates and third-party advertisers.

The 2022 Ramara Municipal and School Board Election is on October 24, 2022, with nominations opening on May 2, 2022. The new Election portal is a one-stop-shop for information on the following:

• Voting (who is eligible & voter registration)
• Candidates
• Ward Boundary changes and review
• Information for Third-Party Advertisers
• FAQs
• Resources

The public can subscribe to receive email updates throughout the election, with final results posted after the polls close. Check out the new site at ramara.ca/election. 

Voting

The Township of Ramara encourages residents to visit voterlookup.ca to ensure they have been included in the Preliminary List of Electors and all their information is correct. The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) maintains the Preliminary List of Electors, which prepares the Voters' List for the election.

Voting for the 2022 Municipal Election will be conducted through telephone and internet voting, with select advance voting days conducted by paper ballot. These three different options for voting will give residents in Ramara an accessible and convenient way to vote.
