IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ramara/November 23, 2022 - The Township of Ramara received funding from Trans Canada Trail to upgrade the trail off County Road 169 from Fairgrounds Road to Howlyn Pines Trail entrance.

The Trans Canada Trail Funding program assists trail operators across Canada develop and enhance trails with either trail infrastructure and major repairs, signage, trail destination development, diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility and/or Indigenous initiatives. The Township of Ramara applied to enhance the trail off of County Road 169 in order to improve the trail
user experience and increase trail safety.
