Accessible Formats and Communication Supports
If you need information in an alternate format or require communication support, we’re here to help.
- We will provide alternate formats of Township information and communications upon request.
- These will be delivered in a timely manner and at no more than the original cost.
- If an alternate format isn’t possible, we’ll provide a summary or explanation in an accessible way.
- We’ll work with you to find the best communication method if your preferred support isn’t available.

Feedback can be received in person at the Township Administration Building located at 2297 Highway 12 in Brechin, during business hours.
Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the exception of statutory holidays.
Feedback can be received by email and will be followed up upon within two business days, or otherwise noted.
Accessibility Policies and Plans
We’re working toward a more accessible Ramara through clear policies and long-term planning.
The Township's Accessibility Policy and 2021-2026 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan demonstrate how Ramara is working towards making our services more accessible.
Annual Status Reports
Each year, we publish a report on progress toward accessibility goals. These annual status reports detail the progress of measures taken to improve accessibility in Ramara Township and provide an overview of current and future initiatives.
Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee
The Townships of Ramara and Severn have established a Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee to provide input to their respective Councils on matters related to accessibility. The Committee meets a minimum of two times per year.
