Commissioning of Oaths and Affidavits

The Township of Ramara offers commissioning services. If you require a Commissioner of Oaths or Affidavits, please ensure one is available by booking an appointment. Contact the Township customer care staff by phone at 705-484-5374 or email ramara@ramara.ca.

All commissioning services will take place in-person for a fee of $20 + applicable tax. Each declarant must be present at the time of commissioning to sign the document in the presence of a Township Commissioner. Declarants must present a valid form of photo identification as determined by the discretion of the Township Commissioner for Taking the Oath or Affidavit.

A Commissioner of Oaths or Affidavits is not the same as a Notary Public. If your document requires a Notary Public signature and seal, please visit the Law Society of Ontario's Directory page to find a local Lawyer, Paralegal, or specialized Notary.

• Township of Ramara generated documents
• Domestic and Foreign Pension document (e.g. Proof of Life)
• Canadian Citizenship forms
• Vehicle transfer of ownership to a family member
• Child Travel Consent
• Immunization exemption document
