Ceremony to honour 2025 Ramara Awards recipients takes place Nov. 14

Ramara, Ont. / Oct. 30, 2025 – The Township of Ramara’s Awards Committee invites residents to come together to celebrate the achievements and contributions of exceptional community members at the 2025 Ramara Awards Ceremony.

“The Ramara Awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people who make our Township such a vibrant and caring place to live,” said Mayor Basil Clarke. “Each of this year’s recipients has contributed in ways that strengthen our sense of community and reflect the very best of Ramara.”

The celebration will take place on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ramara Centre (5482 Highway 12, Ramara). Guests will enjoy light refreshments, a cake cutting, and presentations as the Township honours three remarkable residents whose efforts have made a lasting difference in the community.

The Ramara Awards Committee is pleased to announce the 2025 award recipients:

 Spirit of Ramara Award

·        Annalynn Faulkner – Recognized for her tireless efforts to improve local trails and waterways, Annalynn has played a key role in enhancing Ramara’s natural spaces for everyone to enjoy.

·        Paul Grunsten – Honoured for his leadership on community projects and his commitment to improving safety and infrastructure across the Township.

Ramara Wall of Fame

·        Jane Lee – Remembered for her decades of volunteer service, including her work with the Royal Canadian Legion and developing food programs that supported families. Jane’s kindness and dedication have left a lasting mark on Ramara and all who knew her.

The Ramara Wall of Fame and Spirit of Ramara Awards recognize residents who have brought positive attention to Ramara through leadership, volunteerism, and community service. Their achievements showcase the values that continue to strengthen and inspire the Township.

Residents are encouraged to attend the ceremony and join in celebrating these deserving individuals who have made a lasting impact on the community.
