Earth Day Community Clean Up
Earth Day is April 22, 2026. Residents are encouraged to get involved and make a positive impact by participating in the Earth Day Community Clean-Up Program from April 1 to April 30. The program welcomes residents, community groups, schools and organizations to work together to keep Ramara clean, green, and beautiful.
How to Participate
Residents are invited to register for the event by completing the Township’s online registration form. When registering, participants will be asked to:
-
Provide their name and contact information
-
Select a clean‑up location
-
Estimate the number of participants involved
Township staff will confirm registrations within two to three business days. Once registered, groups may pick up clean‑up supplies from the Township Administration Building and can also request a pick‑up of filled bags following their event.
Clean‑Up Supplies
Residents are encouraged to use their own disposable gloves, however; the Township offers clean‑up kits that include:
-
A large garbage bag
-
A large clear bag
-
A pair of disposable gloves
Supplies must be picked up from the Township Administration Office during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays). Pick‑up dates and times will be pre‑scheduled to ensure supplies are available.
Before your clean up begins, please complete the Township's Clean-Up Tip Sheet and Awareness form and share it with the participants in your group
Why Participate?
Community clean‑ups bring neighbours, colleagues, and classmates together for a shared purpose caring for our environment. Even small efforts can make a meaningful impact. When people take part in cleaning local neighbourhoods, parks, and open spaces, they are more likely to take pride in keeping them clean and litter‑free.
Join the Township of Ramara this spring and help make a positive impact in our community.
