Half Load Restrictions in Effect March 9

The Township of Ramara is advising residents, businesses, and commercial operators that half load restrictions will come into effect on Monday, March 9. These seasonal weight restrictions are implemented each year to protect our roads during the spring thaw, when they are most vulnerable to damage. 

During this period, vehicles travelling on designated Township roads are restricted to a maximum load of 5 tonnes per axle, unless otherwise posted. Signs will be installed on all applicable roads. 

We thank residents and commercial operators for their cooperation as we work to preserve the longevity and safety of our road network. Updates will be provided as necessary, and restrictions will be lifted once road conditions improve.
