Health Care Connect Registration Event Coming to Ramara Medical Centre - August 5, 2026

The Township of Ramara is pleased to share that the Couchiching Ontario Health Team (COHT) is hosting an in-person Health Care Connect registration event to help eligible Ramara residents connect with primary care services.

Residents who do not currently have a local family doctor or nurse practitioner are invited to attend and receive assistance registering with Health Care Connect, Ontario's centralized patient registration program.

With new physicians joining the Ramara Medical Centre, registering with Health Care Connect is the first step toward being connected with a local primary care provider. As part of this physician recruitment initiative, priority will continue to be given to Ramara residents.

Please Bring

Residents attending the event must bring a valid Ontario Health Card showing their current address, as this is required to complete registration.

Who Should Attend?

This event is intended for residents who:

• Do not currently have a local family doctor or nurse practitioner and wish to register with Health Care Connect.
• Currently have a primary care provider but are interested in becoming a patient of one of the new physicians in Ramara. You do not need to leave your current provider to register with Health Care Connect.

Residents who are already registered with Health Care Connect do not need to register again. They should continue to monitor their email for updates. If your contact information has changed, please contact Health Care Connect to ensure your information is current.
