Localized Flooding – Use Caution

The Township of Ramara continues to experience localized flooding in several areas due to current conditions. Municipal crews have been out addressing culvert issues and clearing drainage where possible, and staff continue to monitor conditions.

The areas experiencing localized flooding include:

• Pearl Carrick (North of Concession B/C)
• Concession Road 2 (East of Side Road 5)
• Amilia Drive (East of Louis Lane)
• Sideroad 5 (North of Ramara Road 46)
• Glennrest Drive (between Peter Street and Amilia Drive)
• Sideroad 5/6 (South of Concession Road D/E)
• Sideroad 20 (South of Monck Road)
• Barnstable Drive (North of Concession Road 7 - lane closure in effect)

These roads remain open at this time; however, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and avoid these areas if possible.
