Localized Flooding – Use Caution

Localized flooding continues in parts of the Township and crews are actively monitoring conditions. In areas where water has receded, crews are assessing and completing repairs as required.

Staff continue to address drainage issues as they arise and are spot sanding icy areas where freezing conditions have created slippery surfaces.

The areas currently experiencing localized flooding include:

• Pearl Carrick Road (North of Concession B/C)
• Donald Carrick Lane (East of Pearl Carrick Road)
• Amilia Drive (East of Louis Lane)
• Sideroad 5 (North of Ramara Road 46)
• Glennrest Drive (between Peter Street and Amilia Drive)
• Sideroad 5/6 (South of Concession Road D/E)
• Sideroad 20 (South of Monck Road)
• Barnstable Drive (North of Concession Road 7 – lane closure remains in effect)

These roads remain open at this time; however, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and avoid these areas if possible.
