Township of Ramara
Municipal Elections in the Township of Ramara for the offices of:
Mayor – 1 to be elected (at large)
Deputy Mayor – 1 to be elected (at large)
Councillor, Ward 1 – 1 ACCLAIMED
Councillor, Ward 2 – 1 to be elected
Councillor, Ward 3 – 1 ACCLAIMED
Councillor, Ward 4 – 1 to be elected

Member - English Language Separate District Board #44 - ACCLAIMED
Member - French Language Public District Board #58

Voting Day: October 26, 2026
Voting Period: October 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. until October 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
Voting Proxies: Not permitted, as alternate voting methods are available.
Voting Methods
In Person Paper Ballot
Electors who prefer to vote using a paper ballot can do so in person during three advance
voting opportunities:
- Saturday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Ramara Administration Building (2297
Highway 12) - Thursday, Oct. 15, 4 to 8 p.m. – Ramara Centre (5482 Highway 12)
- Saturday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Ramara Centre (5482 Highway 12)
Those attending paper ballot voting are asked to bring a piece of identification showing proof of
name and qualifying address, as well as their VIL if available.
Paper ballots will not be available on Voting Day, Monday, Oct. 26. Electors voting on
Voting Day can cast their ballot online or by telephone until 8 p.m.
Internet
Access instructions will be mailed out to eligible electors in a Voter Information Letter.
Internet voting will take place from October 8, 2026, at 9 a.m. to October 26, 2026, at 8
p.m.

p.m.
Eligible Electors may attend the Voter Assistance Centre located at the Township of
Ramara Administration Building during regular operating hours (Monday to Friday from 9
a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the exception of statutory holidays) for assistance with internet and
telephone voting. Tablets with internet access will be available for electors. Please bring
your Voter Information Letter, if received.
If you have not received a Voter Information Letter, please bring identification showing your
name and qualifying address. Electors requiring assistance with voter registration, voter
information updates, eligibility questions, or obtaining voting credentials may contact the
Township or visit the Voter Assistance Centre.
