Public Open House on November 5 - Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Strategy

Join us for a Community Open House on Thursday November 5, 2026, to help shape our Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Strategy.  The strategy will explore opportunities to support local businesses by encouraging investment, strengthening tourism, improving properties, and enhancing communities across Ramara.

The Open House is being held to gather input from residents, property owners, local businesses, and other interested community members to better understand what the community would like to see as priorities in the project and help inform future planning and decision-making

What to Expect

  • Learn about Community Improvement Plans and the CIP Strategy project
  • Ask questions and meet the project team
  • Share ideas about opportunities to support investment and community improvements

What Will a CIP do?

The CIP Strategy will explore potential tools and incentives to support local priorities. This can include:

  • vibrant villages and main streets
  • local businesses and entrepreneurs
  • agricultural and rural businesses
  • tourism and waterfront destinations
  • housing opportunities
  • attractive, accessible, and welcoming places.

The CIP Strategy will be shaped by community input, municipal priorities, technical analysis, and best practices from across Ontario.

What Will it Look Like?

Recommendations may include potential Community Improvement Project areas, financial incentive programs, and other tools to encourage investment and revitalization.

No decisions have been made at this time. The final Strategy will be presented to Council for consideration. This Public Open House is not a formal Planning meeting.  It is a drop-in opportunity to provide input to the Strategy.
