Railway Crossing Closure - Highway 12
The Township of Ramara has received notice today (March 4, 2026) from CN regarding an upcoming emergency railway crossing closure that will temporarily restrict through access at the following location:
- Highway 12 - Mile Marker 74.45
This closure will be in effect Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this time, no through access will be available at the affected crossing. A detour will be provided via Ramara Road 46 and County Road 169. Emergency services have been notified regarding this closure.
The closure is necessary to accommodate railway maintenance work. Detour signage will be in place to assist drivers in navigating around the impacted areas.
