Ramara Cooling & Hydration Stations Open July 13 to 16, 2026
Due to the heat warning in effect, the Township of Ramara has opened Cooling and Hydration Stations.
Residents are welcome to visit the following locations during operating hours to cool off, hydrate, and take a break from the heat:
Township Administration Building
2297 Highway 12, Brechin
Open daily from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (July 13-16)
Ramara Centre & Ramara Township Public Library
5482 Highway 12, Atherley
July 13: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
July 14-16: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged outdoor activity during peak heat, and check on family members, neighbours, and others who may be more vulnerable to extreme temperatures.
