Sandbag Station Update – April 23, 2026

Please note that the Township has distributed a limited amount of pre-filled sandbags, which are available on a first-come-first-served basis, to the following sandbag stations today (April 23, 2026):

• Brechin Ball Diamond - 3219 Ramara Rd. 47
• Udney Community Centre - 2347 Concession Road 10
•  Bluebird Park – 6316 Bluebird St.

The Township of Ramara would like to thank the Township of Minden Hills for this generous donation of pre-filled sandbags. 

There are currently five sandbag stations throughout the Township of Ramara for residents to access materials. Sandbags and sand are available at the following locations (view map):

• Brechin Ball Diamond - 3219 Ramara Rd. 47
• Yard 3 – 7305 County Rd. 169
• Longford Mills Community Centre – 3854 Longford Mills Rd.
•  Bluebird Park – 6316 Bluebird St.
• Udney Community Centre - 2347 Concession Road 10

Residents are reminded to bring their own shovel and should be prepared to fill their own sandbags and lift them into their vehicle.

If you notice sand or sandbags are running low at any of these locations, please advise the Township by contacting us at 705-484-5374 during regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and after-hours by calling 705-484-5374 and select Option 9.
