Road Closure Alert for Monck Road, between County Road 44 (Rama Road) and Sideroad 25
The Township of Ramara has been advised by the County of Simcoe that Monck Road, between County Road 44 (Rama Road) and Sideroad 25 in Ramara, is temporarily closed effective today, April 15, until further notice for maintenance work.
Township roads are available for detours during the closure. Motorists are advised that many Township detour roads are primarily dirt and gravel roads and are reminded to reduce speeds and drive with caution, particularly given spring road conditions.
Please follow all posted detour signs during the closure and be mindful of seasonal impacts such as potholes, fresh grading, and other seasonal roadway maintenance. Township operations crews will be monitoring road conditions throughout the detour period.
