Township of Ramara Significant Weather Event Ended Effective - Dec. 31 at 12 p.m. (Noon)

The Significant Weather Event declared on Dec. 28, by the Township of Ramara was declared over effective at 12 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2025.

Municipalities can declare a Significant Weather Event under the Municipal Act, 2001, O. Reg. 239/02, relating to the maintenance of municipal roads, sidewalks and bike lanes. All roadways in the municipality are deemed to be in a state of repair with respect to ice and snow accumulation.

A Yellow Snow Squall Warning issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada remains in effect for our area with the potential for reduced visibility and local snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm.
