Upcoming Road Maintenance – Slurry Seal Surface Treatment Begins October 20, 2025

The Township of Ramara will be conducting slurry seal surface treatment on several Township roads starting Monday, October 20, 2025, weather permitting. This work is part of the Township’s ongoing road maintenance program to extend the lifespan of roadways and improve overall driving conditions.

Roads Scheduled for Treatment:

  • McNeil Street, from Highway 12 to Stong Court.
  • Daniel Street, from McNeil Street to McNeil Street.
  • Ferreira Road, from McNeil Street to the end of the cul-de-sac.
  • Holmes Road, from McNeil Street to Kurtis Drive.
  • Stong Court, from McNeil Street to the end of the road.
  • Airport Road, from Rama Road to Fish Sideroad.
  • Brooks Sideroad, from County Road 169 to Fairgrounds Road.
  • Oakridge Drive, from Pineridge Road to North end of the road.
  • Concession Road 2, from Lakeshore Drive to Ramara Road 47.
  • Concession Road 6, from edge of new asphalt to CN tracks.

What to Expect:

  • Temporary lane closures or restricted access during application and drying periods.
  • No parking permitted on affected roads during construction hours.
  • Emergency vehicle and local traffic access will be maintained at all times.

Additional Information:

Minor inconveniences such as brief delays or limited driveway access may occur while work is underway. Crews will make every effort to minimize disruption and complete the work efficiently.
