The Council of the Township of Ramara will hold a Special Meeting of Council on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 2 p.m. regarding the Proposed Pre-Motion Resolution Framework - Bertrand et al v. Township of Ramara et al 2026 ONSC 1662, HRTO File No.: 2026-67479-I Notice of Application, and Appointment of Interim Treasurer.
The purpose of this meeting is for Council to discuss a proposed pre-motion resolution framework for the legal matter regarding Bertrand et al v. Township of Ramara et al 2026 ONSC 1662; to discuss the Notice of Application for HRTO File No.: 2026-67479-I; and to appoint an interim treasurer prior to the restricted acts period.
This meeting will be held electronically only and a portion of the meeting will be held in closed session. The open session portions of the meeting will be livestreamed on the Township's YouTube channel.
