Water Service Interruption - October 7, 2026 Bayshore Village Water System
The Township has been advised by the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) that a watermain repair is required on Thicketwood Place in Bayshore Village.
To complete the repair, a temporary water service interruption will be required on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Work is scheduled to begin around 8 a.m., however, water service is not expected to be shut off until 9 a.m. Water service is expected to be restored by 5 p.m.
Properties identified on the attached map will be affected by this shutdown. This includes all properties on Thicketwood Place and Park Lane, as well as one property addressed on Bayshore Drive that is serviced from the Park Lane watermain.
Affected Area
Please refer to the map below for the properties expected to be impacted by the water shutdown.
After Water Service is Restored
Following completion of the repair, the repaired section of watermain will be cleaned, disinfected and flushed in accordance with provincial drinking water requirements before being returned to service. Residents in the area may experience temporary discoloured water following the flushing activities. If this occurs, run a cold water tap for several minutes or until the water runs clear. This condition is temporary and is not considered a health hazard.
The Township appreciates the patience and cooperation of its residents as this necessary infrastructure work is completed.
