Watermain Flushing Scheduled for Bayshore Village - October 14 - 16

The Township of Ramara, though the Ontario Clean Water Agency, will be conducting routine watermain flushing in Bayshore Village from October 14 to October 16, 2026 as part of the Township's annual watermain maintenance program.

Watermain flushing is a preventative maintenance activity that helps maintain water quality, remove sediment from the distribution system, and support the continued reliability of the drinking water system.

During flushing activities, residents may experience:

  • Temporary discoloured water
  • Fluctuations in water pressure

These conditions are temporary and should resolve once flushing activities are complete. If discoloured water is observed, residents are encouraged to run a cold water tap until the water clears before doing laundry or using hot water.

For additional information about watermain flushing, including frequently asked questions, please visit the Township's Watermain Flushing and Swabbing Information page.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this important maintenance work is completed.
