During the year the Recreation Department staff hold special events to provide entertainment or information to our community. In the past these have included holiday contests, photographic displays, and sporting events. Check back here often for more information throughout the year on how you can participate. Also, check out our community calendar and plan out your year's events!
In addition, Township volunteer boards and committees can submit their events to the calendar to let everyone know what's going on in Ramara Township.

| Snowmanathon |
| Every year we are invite individuals and families to participate in our annual "Snow Creations" building contest.
Simply build your creation and send us a picture to recreation@ramara.ca and we'll show it off on our socials. The pictures will be complied and judged by a panel of experts. Contest begins December 1st and runs until March 1st. Please note that by sending your entry you are agreeing that they can be shared publicly. No other details than the name you provide will be released.
