In-Person Health Care Coming to Ramara
Dr. Anoushka Mohammadiankhorasani (Dr. Mo), a primary care physician, will begin serving the community starting in July, with a new medical practice located at the Ramara Medical Centre in Brechin.

Please note that the Lagoon City Parks and Waterways Commission meeting originally scheduled for July 10, 2025, has been rescheduled to July 24, 2025, due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please be advised that starting the week of July 7, 2025, Wessuc Inc. will begin transporting wastewater effluent from the Bayshore Village sewage lagoons (3407 Barnstable Drive) to the Lagoon City Wastewater Treatment Plant (155 Laguna Parkway) (see map) on behalf of the Township of Ramara. Hauling will occur Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 6p.m.
The Township of Ramara Administration Building and facilities (including the Ramara Township Public Library) will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, for Canada Day.
Water service has been restored to the Bayshore Village Water System that affected properties on Bayshore Drive, Misty Court and Southview Drive.
A previous notice was issued for a Special Council Meeting to be held on June 23, 2025. This meeting will now be rescheduled to Monday, June 30, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
IN THE MATTER OF an application by The Corporation of the Township of Ramara for the approval to expropriate those lands being Lots 27 and 28 Plan 264 former Township of Mara, County of Simcoe, for the purpose of providing an Easement for use by the general public to access public lands.
TAKE NOTICE that on June 2, 2025, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Ramara enacted Bylaw No. 2025.36 under Section 17 of the Planning Act to adopt a new Official Plan for the Township of Ramara.
