The Township of Ramara owns and operates three community centres within its borders. In addition, there are parks, sports fields, and pavilions operated by independent boards and committees available for rent.
Our versatile multi-purpose room is well suited for a wide range of uses, including meetings, fitness and wellness programs, community events, and small private gatherings such as birthday celebrations and social functions.
Please note: Alcohol is not permitted in this space. Additional fees may apply, including insurance, use of facility equipment and refundable security deposits.
Rental rates are determined based on the Township’s Fee Groups, which classify users by organization type and purpose of use.
Group A — Municipal / Board / Partner Use
For Township of Ramara departments, Township-run programs and events, Community Centre Boards for board-run events, Township-approved committees, and joint municipal or partner-led initiatives co-hosted with the Township.
Group B — Community / Non-Profit / Youth
For registered non-profit organizations (minor sports, service clubs, Scouts/Guides), volunteer-run community groups, youth-focused non-profit programs, charitable or grassroots community events, and neighbourhood or community association meetings.
Group C — Private / Commercial / For-Profit
For private individuals (e.g., parties, showers, private functions), businesses or instructors charging participants, commercial rentals (markets, trade shows), corporate events not Township-run, and any revenue-generating activity.
To request a booking, please complete the Rental Application Form and submit it to mmadden@ramara.ca. All rental requests are subject to availability, review, and approval by Township staff.

Directions to 5482 Highway 12 South, Atherley
The Ramara Centre is the main hub for Recreation Services in the Township. Community programs are held year round, as well as camp and youth activities. The Ramara Centre has attached soccer pitches and a lit baseball diamond for league play. Spaces available for rent include a large auditorium with stage, a 10-person meeting room, and sports fields. To inquire about any of these spaces, contact the Recreation team today.
Directions to 3 Winchester St, Atherley
The Atherley Community Centre Board of Management manages the Atherley Community Park on behalf of the Township. Home to a junior-sized baseball diamond, a small unsupervised beach, playground and pavilion, this lakeside park is a perfect space to relax and enjoy daily spectacular sunsets across the lake. Rentals for this site can be directed to Ramara Recreation staff.

The Townshipof Ramara manages the Brechin Community Park. This site features a lit baseball diamond, Ramara’s off-leash dog park, a playground, a large picnic pavilion, and a small meeting room.
Longford Mills Community Centre

The Longford Mills Community Centre Board of Management manages the Longford Mills Community Centre on behalf of the Township. These dedicated volunteers manage the upkeep and rentals of the banquet hall. The hall is licensed annually for your function's needs. Acting as home base for the Ramara Seniors, the hall also hosts a dart league, monthly dinners and live music jams. The Udney Community Centre Board of Management manages the Udney Community Centre on behalf of Township. These dedicated volunteers manage the upkeep and rentals of the large banquet hall. The hall is licensed annually for your function's needs. Udney is also home to the Ramara Historical Society. To inquire about rentals of the Udney Hall please contact the Udney Community Centre Board directly at 705-484-5482.

There are two lit ball diamonds for rental within the Township of Ramara: one at the Ramara Centre, and the other at the Brechin Ballpark. There is also a small junior-sized diamond at the Atherley Community Park.

Special Events Permit Application
In order to hold your event at one of the Township-owned outdoor facilities, you must submit a special events permit application to the administration centre.

There are a number of facilities in the Township of Ramara borders that are owned and operated by community associations and committees, and are available to local residents.
The Lagoon City Community Association (LCCA) is a private, non-profit Corporation that promotes, supports and protects the interests of the LCCA members. It provides a facility for activities and keeps members informed on civic issues in the community.
