Recent Engagement Opportunities

The municipality regularly seeks community input to help inform decisions, plans, and projects. Below are the most recent engagement opportunities that are now closed. We thank all participants for their time and contributions. Your feedback has played an important role in shaping municipal priorities and guiding future initiatives.

Ramara Council is seeking feedback on proposed updates to the Canine Control By-law, which will be considered at the September 22, 2025, Council Meeting.

The Official Plan describes how Ramara plans to accommodate future growth and development while meeting the needs of existing residents and businesses in the area.  

A report regarding the Lakeshore Drive and Lagoon City Servicing Project was presented at the May 26, 2025, Township of Ramara Committee of the Whole meeting and will go to Council for consideration on June 2, 2025.
The report recommends awarding the tender for the Lagoon City Low-Pressure Sanitary Sewer Works servicing component — including Maple Trail, Lone Birch Trail, Ridge Avenue, and Simcoe Road.
The Lakeshore Drive Watermain Works component is not being advanced for tender at this time but remains under consideration for future development.
