The Committee approved increasing the bulk water rates from $4 to $4.50 per cubic metre.

Septic Reinspection - Discretionary Program

The Township of Ramara established the Discretionary Sewage Re-inspection program in 2019 and included all properties that utilize a sewage system within 100 metres of all rivers, streams, lakes and ponds. As of the end of 2022, the majority of all properties were inspected within this program. Committee approved to suspend the Discretionary program. Please note that the Mandatory Program, which inspects properties within 100 metres of the Lake Simcoe shoreline, 100 metres of another body of water within the Lake Simcoe watershed, or near a municipal well or surface water intake area, will still continue. Learn more at www.ramara.ca/septic.
