REDUCED LOADS IN EFFECT from March 1st to April 30th, with the possibility of extension, on Township roads. As a result, vehicles are restricted to load limits of five tonnes per axle.
The Township of Ramara maintains 361 km of open roads that consist of 183 km of gravel and 178 km of hard surface (asphalt pavement or tar and chip). The Township does little to no work on unassumed roads, unimproved roads (mud and summer roads) or road allowances that may or may not contain any type of road or trail.
All roads within the municipality are required to be maintained in accordance with the Provincial Minimum Maintenance Standards.
We are dedicated to meeting legislated standards and guidelines in the maintenance of our road, sidewalk and bridge infrastructure.
