Notice of Passing - Zoning By-law Amendment

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Ramara passed Bylaw #2023.69 on September 25, 2023 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13. This Bylaw amends the Township of Ramara Zoning Bylaw 2005.85, as amended.

This amendment is required as a condition of an Interim Order of the Ontario Land Tribunal for OLT Case No.: OLT-21-001730. As per Section 34(18) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, Notice shall be given in the prescribed manner.

Purpose and Effect:

The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment will have the effect of amending the current zoning on the subject properties as shown in “Schedule A” of the By-law from Village Industrial “VID”, Village Institutional “VIN”, Village Residential Exception 6 – Holding ”VR-6(H)”, Active Recreation Exception 10 (Private) “AR-10(P)”, and Village Residential/Village Commercial/Village Institutional – Holding "VR/VC/VIN-(H)” to Natural Area Protection “NAP”.

At this time, the lands are subject to an Appeal at the Ontario Land Tribunal to the County of Simcoe for Failure to announce a decision respecting the Official Plan for the County of Simcoe.

This By-law shall come into force and take effect on the date of the passing thereto; September 25, 2023
