Please be advised that starting the week of July 7, 2025, Wessuc Inc. will begin transporting wastewater effluent from the Bayshore Village sewage lagoons (3407 Barnstable Drive) to the Lagoon City Wastewater Treatment Plant (155 Laguna Parkway) (see map) on behalf of the Township of Ramara. Hauling will occur Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 6p.m.
To responsibly manage lagoon levels and ensure compliance, the Township is implementing a hybrid strategy with both field spraying and hauling methods for 2025. The hybrid strategy is an interim step to manage wastewater until the new, permanent tile bed infrastructure is in place, anticipated to be constructed in 2026.
This year’s hybrid approach has been designed to reduce the overall impact on residents. By starting hauling operations early and continuing with controlled spraying efforts, the Township is spreading out operational pressures over time. This not only improves efficiency and achieves compliance, but also limits the duration and frequency of hauling activities.
We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this essential work.
