Road Closure - Gladstone Street

Please be advised that a cross-culvert replacement will be taking place on Gladstone Street on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 4:30 p.m.

During this time, Gladstone Street will be closed to all traffic to ensure a safe working environment. Business entrances located in the vicinity of the road closure will remain open.

A detour route will be available via Highway 12 and Concession Road 4 for all impacted residents.

Notice of Temporary Road Closure - Bayshore Drive - Thursday, October 2, 2025

Please be advised that a portion of Bayshore Drive, between Bayshore Drive and Lavender Court, is temporarily closed due to a watermain leak requiring emergency repairs. A detour route is in place for through traffic.  Local traffic access will be maintained.

Simcoe Sewer and Water Ltd., a contractor for the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), will be working on Bayshore Drive to investigate a potential water leak.

The investigation is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 2, 2025 and will take place on Bayshore Drive between Lavender Court and Bayshore Drive. The duration of the work may vary depending on the findings.

Notice: Lakeshore Road Swing Bridge #50 Temporary Closure

Parks Canada has advised that the Lakeshore Road Swing Bridge #50 on Ramara Road 47 near Gamebridge will be closed to road traffic for re-decking from 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025.

Signage will be posted the week before, and motorists are requested to use Highway 12 at Gamebridge to cross the canal, as indicated on the detour map. Boat traffic will remain unaffected. Please view the full notice from Parks Canada. Attachment: Detour Map
