Lagoon City Parks and Waterways Commission Meeting - August 8, 2024 Infrastructure and Public Works Updates
- Staff advised that Harvesting is completed in the following canals: Cedar Lagoon, Windward Lagoon, Beaver Lagoon, Canoe Lagoon, Concord Pond, Leeward Lagoon, Gondola Lagoon (both east and west), the entrance to Lagoon City, and the crews are currently working in Harbour Lagoon and at the Marina.

Boil Water Advisory - Bayshore Village Water System

THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED EFFECTIVE Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 1:35 p.m.
The precautionary boil water advisory that was issued on August 11, 2024 due to a power interruption at the Bayshore Village Water Treatment Plant has been lifted.
Laboratory test results have confirmed that the water is safe to consume. No further actions are required.

The Council of the Township of Ramara will be holding a Special Council meeting on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 9:30 am for the purpose of two public meetings concerning the Township of Ramara Official Plan and proposed amendments to the Building Permit fee schedule. As well as discussing effluent hauling tender results, purchase & certification effluent haulage business case and final environmental assessment proposal presentation.

Notice - Water Quality Advisory

The Township of Ramara has received notice today, January 7, 2025, from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the blue - green algae blooms identified in 2024, impacting Lake St. John and the Southeast shoreline of Lake Dalrymple in the Township of Ramara have been resolved.
