Lagoon City Parks and Waterways Commission Meeting - December 14, 2023 North Footbridge

Due to skewed survey results, the Commission requested at the November 9, 2023, meeting that Lagoon City levy-paying residents be re-surveyed with additional questions to ensure that only one per household levy-paying resident answers the questions.

Staff will mail the survey to each levy-paying resident. The survey can be filled out online or by paper and is available until Thursday, January 5, at 4:30 p.m.

Notice of Effluent Haulage - Update

Update

The Township of Ramara effectively hauled 55,000 cubic metres of effluent from the ponds to approved locations to help the township sustain winter storage amounts of effluent until irrigation can restart in the spring of 2024.

This process has ensured that the township complies with our Certificate of Approval and is hopeful, depending on the weather, that the township will be able to spray rather than haul any effluent in 2024.
