Media Release - Ramara launches 14th Annual Snowmanathon Contest

Ramara/December 1, 2023 – Ramara Township's Recreation Department invites individuals, families, and friends to participate in the 14th annual Snowmanathon.

We ask Ramara residents and even businesses to build a snow creation, from a snowman to a snow animal, and send a picture of their creation to our recreation department before March 1, 2024. Each submission will be showcased on the township's social media channel.

County of Simcoe introduces updated Zones for curbside and special collections

Midhurst/November 15, 2023 – Starting December 4, 2023, the County of Simcoe is adjusting its curbside waste collection zones to accommodate the Province’s shift to a new recycling model (details on this new model are shared below).

Starting in December 2023, all households and businesses serviced by the County will be placed in either Zone 1 or Zone 2 for curbside cart collections, as well as all special collection programs (such as leaf and yard waste).
