Council - June 26, 2023 Updates from Mayor and CAO Mayor Update

Mayor Clarke opened up the meeting and reported that he and other members of the Council attended Cliff Martin's retirement celebration on Saturday, June 24, 2023, which honoured Cliff's 46 years of volunteering for the Udney Community Centre Board. Residents of Bayshore Village:

The Township of Ramara has been made aware of equipment failure earlier today at the East Sewage Pumping Station in Bayshore Village. If you live near this station (located between Bayshore Drive and Fernwood Lane) and had a sewage backup in your home within the last 24-48 hours, we are asking you to document any damage by taking photos and then notifying the Township of any damage by either a phone call during business hours or by email. The Township of Ramara focuses on timely, accurate, relevant and purposeful communication, and any notices or posts regarding closures, change of service, etc., will be issued through a Township of Ramara channel (social media, notice on the website, etc.).
