Ramara/April 17, 2023 – This National Volunteer Week, Ramara Township would like to thank our volunteers for their hard work and dedication to the community and celebrate all the positive impacts that they have given to the community.
April 16 to 22 is National Volunteer Week, a week is set aside each year to recognize and thank volunteers around the Township of Ramara and Canada. This year's theme, "Volunteering Weaves Us Together," reflects on how our volunteers' individual and collective actions create a strong, interconnected and vibrant community.
"Every year, our volunteers help clean up our trails and parks, collect and sort donations, beautify our streets and organize special events for our community to enjoy. I want to thank all of our volunteers for their valuable contributions to our community and for continually improving and shaping our community to make it a better place to live."
- Mayor Basil Clarke
The Township of Ramara wants to recognize and thank all the volunteers from our boards, committees and commissions who enrich the community and dedicate their time, experience and knowledge through various forms of service.
