Mosquito Control Program starts Today!

Ramara's Annual Aerial Mosquito Control Program begins Today

The program will cover areas of the Township along the shores of Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching, from the Talbot river in the South to Fawn Bay in the North. The purpose of the program is to control the mosquito population in the area. 

s part of the program, helicopters will be flying ahead and applying larvicides. Residents might see or hear the helicopters during the operation.

Notice Special Council Meeting Monday, April 15th, 2024

The Council of the Township of Ramara will be holding a Special Council meeting on Monday, April 15th, 2024 for the purpose of a Public Planning meeting regarding a Zoning Bylaw Amendment.  At the same meeting, Council will also be considering a separate bylaw with respect to the acquisition of property.
