The Township of Ramara has volunteer positions available for four different committees. The term of each vacancy ends November 2026 after the 2026 municipal election.

Applications now being accepted for the Couchiching OPP Detachment Board

With upcoming changes to the Community Safety and Policing Act, the City of Orillia and the Townships of Severn, Oro-Medonte, and Ramara are inviting applications from community members to join the newly-formed Couchiching OPP Detachment Board.

Board Composition

The Board will include one elected official from each of the following municipalities, as well as 4 community members and 2 provincial appointees:
